The Miss Greater San Diego and Miss
Greater San Diego Teen Pageants were established in 1981.
A tradition in the City and County of San Diego, the titleholders
appear throughout the city at various events, grand openings,
parades and modeling appearances, plus other exciting events!
In addition to attending these functions, the winners spend
months training, working with walking coaches, trying various
hairstyles, attending make-up lessons, reading and improving
public speaking and interview skills.
The Miss Greater San Diego program is a preliminary to the
Miss California USA and Miss California Teen USA Pageants.
Since 1995 the pageant has been under the direction of Pam
Wilson. Contestants ages 13 – 26 are welcome to participate.
Competition areas include swimsuit, evening gown, on stage
interview and personal interview. For contestants, there is
an orientation rehearsal meeting and two rehearsals prior to the competition
day.
The Miss Greater San Diego Titleholders have had great success
at the Miss California pageant every year. Please click on
the past titleholders link to see our past winners and how

This year we will be celebrating 30 years
of grand pageant tradition. If you are interested in being part of the tradition and becoming a contestant, please do
